Working Principle

  • 76-81GHz frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar product, supporting four wire and two wire applications. Multiple models, the maximum range of the product can reach 120m, and the blind spot can reach 8 cm. Due to its higher operating frequency and shorter wavelength, it is particularly suitable for solid-state applications. The working method of transmitting and receiving electromagnetic waves through a lens has unique advantages in high dust and harsh temperature environments (+200 ℃). The instrument provides a flange or thread fixing method, making installation convenient and easy.
    1. Transmission of Signal
    o The transmitter emits microwave pulses (radar waves) toward the material surface.
    2. Reflection from Surface
    o When the waves hit the material (liquid/solid), they get reflected back to the sensor.
    3. Receiving the Echo
    o The antenna receives the reflected signal (echo).
    4. Time Measurement
    o The device measures the time taken for the signal to travel to the surface and return.
    5. Level Calculation
    o Using the speed of light, the distance is calculated:
    o Distance = (Speed × Time) / 2
    6. Level Display
    o The system converts distance into level of material and displays/transmits it (e.g., 4–20 mA output).
